Terms of Service for WhyHi App MVP
1. Introduction
Welcome to the WhyHi App MVP Beta. This version of WhyHi is a Minimum Viable Product ("MVP") designed for public testing and user feedback. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the WhyHi app, a mobile communication platform providing voice and video calls, messaging, and other functionalities ("Services"). Your access and use of our Services in this beta phase indicate your agreement to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Please be aware that the functionalities and stability of the MVP may vary during this testing period.2. Data Collection and Use
We collect various types of information to enhance the functionality and user experience of our app.
Data collected includes:
* Personal information such as your email address and phone number.
* Usage data such as intentions and planned durations of call invitations, duration of calls, and feedback on app features.
* We do not record any calls, which are encrypted using AES 256-bit encryption with dynamic, session-specific keys to protect user communications. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Data collected is used solely for app functionality and improvement.3. Aggregate Data
Aggregate data may be collected and used internally to analyze app usage and improve Services. This data is not shared with third parties and is used exclusively for the development of WhyHi version 2.0.4. User Directory
During the beta phase, the user directory is fully open, allowing any user to find and connect with other users. You have the option to remove connections or block users at any time.5. Communication and Updates
You agree to receive communications from us regarding app updates, service changes, and survey inquiries via email. You may opt-out of receiving these emails at any time through an unsubscribe link provided.6. Feedback
Users are encouraged to provide feedback through the app's Contact Us page, survey inquiries, and other mechanisms. Data from feedback will be used to enhance app functionalities.7. Account Termination and Data Retention
You may terminate your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, all personal data associated with your account will be deleted. Aggregate data will be retained in a non-identifiable form for analytics.8. Disclaimers
The WhyHi app MVP is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Services and may temporarily suspend access without notice.9. Liability
We are not liable for the actions of users on the platform. While we provide mechanisms for reporting inappropriate behavior, we are not responsible for monitoring user interactions.10. Legal Compliance and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Compliance with U.S. federal laws and Canadian data protection laws (PIPEDA) is maintained. Disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved in California.11. Changes to Terms
